Obituary of Timothy Johnson

Kernersville-Timothy "Tim" Johnson, 17, passed away peacefully, as he was surrounded by his family and friends, November 3, 2013. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 6:00PM Wednesday November 6, 2013 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Pete Kunkle officiating. Graveside Interment Services will be held at Noon on Thursday at the Mt. Gur Cemetery. A native of Guilford County, Tim is the son of Shelly Frazier and Tim Johnson who survive. He was a Senior at Northwest Guilford High School and was co-creator of "The League of Extraordinary Gentleman" Club at the school. He played drums in a band with his buddies. Survivors include his mother Shelly Frazier and Chad of Kernersville; father Tim Johnson of Greensboro; brothers Derek Johnson and Alston Frazier; maternal grandparents Rick and Lil Williams of Greensboro; paternal grandfather Paul Johnson of Greensboro; and he leaves several Aunts, Uncles, extended family and a host of friends. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Pallbearers for Tim's funeral are asked to be his Class of 2014 and all other friends.
