Obituary of Eric Begay-Ahmed

Kernersville-Eric Aaron Begay-Ahmed, 17, became another of God’s Angels on October 28, 2013. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 6:00PM Friday November 1, 2013 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Interment will be at a later date in New Mexico. He was born in Miami, Florida, but Eric was raised in the Oak Ridge area and has always called North Carolina home. He is the son of Frances Marie Begay-Ahmed and Faisal Ahmed who survive. He was a senior at Northwest Guilford High School. He was so passionate about his Jiu Jitsu, friends, music (especially his guitar), cars, and a club he had started with friends called A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Survivors include his parents and a loving “little” big sister Sabrina Saleha Begay-Ahmed; he also has several uncles, aunts, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
