Obituary of Kay Frances Cox

Mt. Airy-Kay Frances Steelman Cox, 66, passed away to be with the Lord October 12, 2013. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held 6PM Wednesday October 16, 2013 at her home. A native of Iredell County, Kay was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Fred Steelman. She was born November 30, A homemaker, she was married to Jon Gary Cox who survives. Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Jon Gary Cox of the home; sons Brandon Cox of Pinnacle, and Johnny Cox of Greensboro; grandchildren Ashley, Brystol, and Dakoda; sisters Dottie Bowden, Sarah Stuckinsnyder, and Wanda Hendrin ; brothers Kenneth Steelman, Richard Steelman, and David Steelman; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at her home on Wednesday.
