Obituary of Doris Skinner

Kernersville-Doris Virginia Barefoot Skinner, 80, went home to be with her Lord October 10, 2013. Graveside Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 1:00PM Sunday October 13, 2013 at Raeford Cemetery in Raeford, NC. A native of Cumberland County, Doris was the daughter of the late Lizzie Lee Faircloth and James Thomas Barefoot. Survivors include her husband of 62 years Charles Edward Skinner of the home; son Ronnie Skinner and Crystal of High Point; sister Edna Hiatt of Yadkinville; brothers Ernest Barefoot and Lannie, James R. Barefoot and Betty, and Wilbert Barefoot and Linda all of Raeford; numerous extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
