Obituary of Rufus Sapp

Biography Kernersville-Rufus "Leo" Sapp, Sr., 77, passed away September 27, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Tuesday October 1, 2013 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. He was born July 22, 1936 in Forsyth County, to the late Charles Dewey and Dillie Bertha Slate Sapp. Leo was the beloved husband to the late Lillie Eanes Sapp, his one and only Love. In addition to his parents and wife, he also was preceded in death by Shirley Ann Morphies. Survivors include his daughter Carol Sapp Dixon of Kernersville; sons Rufus Leo "Butch" Sapp, Jr. and Susan, and Bobby Earl Sapp, Sr. all of Kernersville; he was a loving and adoring Grandfather to eight grandsons and three granddaughters, and thirty-two great-grandchildren.
