Obituary of Susanne Schoonover

Kernersville-Susanne Maria Perl Schoonover, 43, passed away September 18, 2013 at the Hospice Home in High Point. She fought courageously, for 17 months, a battle she was destined to lose. A Celebration of her Life will be held 1:00PM Friday September 27, 2013 at First Christian Church in Kernersville, in the Proctor Room. A native of Heilbronn, Germany, Susanne was the daughter of Klara Perl and the late Gunther Perl. Survivors include her Mother Klara Perl of Germany; brother Thomas Perl of Germany; sister Michaela Perl of Germany; daughters Sabrina and Samantha Schoonover of Kernersville; her life partner Scott Blackmon, and his son Drew, both of Kernersville; and Kenny “Dancing Kenny” Thompson of Winston-Salem. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made First Christian Church, 1130 N.
