Send Flowers Arnold Deleno Fulp July 31, 1933 - September 14, 2013 Kernersville-Arnold Deleno Fulp, 80, passed away, September 14, 2013, peacefully at home following a long illness. Funeral Services celebrating his Life will be held 2:30PM Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Winston-Salem. A native of Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Pearl Lemmons Fulp and Cyrus Albert Fulp. He graduated from Kernersville High School Class of '53. He later served his country with the US Army. He was employed with Salem Carpet for 39 years. He retired from Shaw Carpet. He had a love for farming, relaxing at the beach, and fishing. His faith in Jesus Christ gave him the love for his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by his sisters Edith Moore and Inez Hepler, and his brother Thomas Fulp. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years Shirley Vance Fulp of the home; daughter Kimberly Clevenger and Gary of Burlington; sons Richard G. Fulp and Dwayne Fulp both of Kernersville; grandchildren Ashley Fulp, Cyrus Fulp, Michael Fulp, and Matthew Clevenger; great-granddaughter Macyn Fulp; sister Betty Fulp Tuttle of Kernersville; and his brother Steve Fulp of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. The family will visit with friends from 6-8pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
