Obituary of Francis Zeleske

Kernersville- Francis William “Frank” Zeleske, 85, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on September 5, 2013. In keeping with Frank’s wishes, his body will be gifted to Wake Forest University School of Medicine. A private Celebration of his Life will be held for family members. Francis was born to the late Nicholas and Julia Latoski Zeleske in Berlin, Wisconsin on July 19, 1928. He enjoyed a lifelong love of travel, displayed by serving his country in the US Merchant Marines during World War II, to meticulously planning family roadtrips, to taking flying lessons beginning at age 70. Frank is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gloria Zagarola Zeleske, daughters; Dolores Shillinglaw, Constance Meints and Deborah Fitzpatrick, grandsons; Greg Munning, Todd Munning and Nick Meints. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, 650 Coliseum Drive, Winston-Salem, NC, 27105.
