Obituary of Helen Brim

Kernersville-Helen Langford Brim, 85, died Friday August 30, 2013. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held 3:00PM Sunday September 1, 2013 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel with Dr. Craig Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. A native of Stokes County, Helen was the daughter of the late Charity Emeline McGee and Thomas William Langford. She was a life long member of Northwest Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She was married to the late R.P. Brim, Jr., and also was preceded in death by her son Richard W. James, and brothers George, Clyde, and Thomas. Survivors include her daughters Terri Bowman and Dr. Craig Bowman of Eden, and Debbie Elrod of Kernersville; son John Brim and Linda of Pfafftown; grandchildren Anise Farmer and Joshua, Abbie Ziemann and Matt, Andrew Bowman, Lauren Brim, Morgan Brim, and Chris Petersen; great-grandchildren Ben, Sam, Hannah, and Brooks. The family will visit with friends from 2PM Sunday until time for the funeral at the funeral home.
