Obituary of Charles Hanner

Kernersville-Charles "Chuck" Ernest Hanner, 87, passed away August 29, 2013. Graveside Military Honors will be held 11:00AM Saturday. August 31, 2013 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. A native of Guilford County, Chuck was the son of the late Sarah Etta Shields and William Pearl Hanner. He was a Navy WWII Veteran and was retired from RJ Reynolds Corporation. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Marie Duncan Hanner, daughter LaDonna Lamb, son Barry Hanner, and a brother William "Bunk" Hanner. Survivors include his daughter Cynthia Hanner Bullins of Virginia; son Mark Anthony Hanner of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister Virginia Hanner Cheek of Kernersville; several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
