Obituary of Annie Medlin

Annie Mozelle Jones Medlin, 84, slipped peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Saviour at Forsyth Medical Center, Friday, June 28, 2013. Mozelle was born September 27, 1928 in Forsyth County, NC to the late James Corbett and Emma Lee Ethridge Jones. Memorial services for Mozelle will be at 1:30pm Tuesday July 2, 2013 in Love's United Methodist Church Sanctuary with Rev. John Woods officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Fellowship Hall. Her ashes will be interred in Love's cemetery at a later date. Mozelle was a member and attendee of Love's United Methodist Church her entire life; living the first 21 years in sight of the church and the remainder only minutes away. Mozelle was a people person, never knowing a stranger. She held dear the times her friends, not having a way home after school, would stay in her home. Mozelle and her girlhood friends, those that were left, loved their reunions. Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents; son Joseph Von Medlin; her sister and brother in law, Emma Virginia Rader and Eugene Pates; and her sister and brother in law, Dorothy Louise Tuttle and Richard Moser. Mozelle is survived by her husband Billy Bryan Medlin; her son and daughter in law Bryan Lee and Kitty Tulbert Medlin; grandson and wife David Clark and Valerie Huff Medlin; grandson and wife Zachary Bryan and Allyson Goins Medlin; grandson Adam Brett Medlin and Anna Collett; great grandson William Clark Medlin; a niece Lu Anne Stroup; as well as a host of her lifelong friends.
