Obituary of Margaret Macy

Colfax - Margaret "Peggy" Lawson Macy, age 78, was called home to be with Jesus on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Genesis Triad Center in High Point. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00 PM,Sunday, June 30, 2013, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel in Kernersville. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 pm at Westminster Gardens in Greensboro. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ida Lawson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Wilbourn Macy and her son Richard Macy. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include five daughters Iras and Paul Lowman, Teresa and Bill Alger, Tammy and David Penix, Judy Stansbury, Beverly and Mark Hill; twenty-six grandchildren and forty-seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 29, 2013, from 6-8PM at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of Teresa and Bill Alger.
