Obituary of Daniel Kinney
Kernersville-Daniel Arthur Kinney, 55, went home to the loving embrace of God.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 5:30PM Monday evening March 4, 2013 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Paul Dechant, O.S.F.S., officiating. The visitation will be at the church from 5:30PM until 7:30PM Sunday evening and the Wake Service will be held at 6:00PM Sunday evening at the church.
A native of Union County, New Jersey, Dan was the son of the late Dorothy Domanic and John Edward Kinney who survives. He served his Country with the US Army. He was a maintenance electrician at Qualicaps, Inc. in Whitsett.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, an usher, a lector, and a sacristan.
In addition to his mother, he also was preceded in death by his step-father Ramon Rivera.
Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years Marie Davenport Kinney of the home; daughter Megan Kinney of Winston-Salem; sons Joshua Kinney and Cameron Kinney both of the home; brothers John Kinney of Colonia, NJ, Michael Kinney of Kernersville, Mark Kinney of Plantation, FL, Joe Saglimbeni and Brenda of Clinton, TN, and Rick Saglimbeni of NJ; his God children Alexandria Kinney and John Kinney, IV; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family asks all friends to visit with them at the church on Sunday evening from 5:30 until 7:30pm.
