Obituary of Kenneth Eppert

Kernersville-Ken Eppert, 70, died suddenly on February 27, 2013. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held 10:00AM Tuesday March 5, 2013 at Main Street United Methodist Church where he was a member. A native of Bradenton, Florida, Ken was the son of the late Virginia Selman and Kenneth Eppert. He served his country in Korea with the US Army. He moved to North Carolina after his retirement. At Main Street United Methodist Church he was a member of the Thursday morning Men’s Bible Study and the Bethany Café, a feeding program sponsored by the church for those in need. He most recently had worked as a Security Officer at the Reynolda House Museum of American Art in Winston-Salem. Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years Karen “KC” Eppert of the home; son Kenneth Wyatt Eppert, III and Jennifer of Jupiter, Florida; grandchildren Jonas and Rebecca; brothers Don Eppert and Kathie of Winston-Salem, and Ron Eppert and Karen of Westfield, Indiana; nieces Lara Carter and Robert and Rebecca Schroeder and Brian; nephew Ron Eppert, Jr. and Diane; great-niece Jessica and great-nephew Austin. The family will visit with friends from 6-8pm Monday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
