I remember when I was about 11/12 years old and I was at my aunt Karen’s house, we were all outside the kids were playing and the adults were having drinks, and I can still vividly taste and see this drink Lulu had a drink made and it was the beautiful yellow beverage and at the time I had no idea what alcohol was and I said “Lulu that looks so good” and she laughed and whispered to me “you wanna try some” and she let me have a sip of her drink, 10/10 best drink I’ve ever had! Everyone was so mad at her and all she had to say was “she wanted to try it” and that was lulu for you, she was just a fun, outgoing, outspoken soul, and I appreciated her energy abundantly she will be missed by us all, maybe she’s up in heaven letting God have a lil sip lol I love you LuLu

Laurie was a huge part of my life from the time when I first met her when I was 16 years old. I married Marty and became Laurie's daughter-in-law in 1985. We gave her two more grandchildren. She was always a big part of all of her children and grandchildren's lives. My heartfelt condolences to Cheryl, Bubs, Marty, and Shane and all of Laurie's grandchildren and extended family. She will be forever missed. Many prayers for comfort, strength, and peace today and in all the days ahead. I am very sorry for your loss.

I remember Laurie from my childhood into my mid 30,s. She was a sweet and loving person with a great sense of humor and a lot of fun to be around . As it happens sometimes, life takes you down different paths and we more or less lost contact with each other. It was a blessing to have known her and had her as part of our family and to have been blessed with 4 niece, nephews and their families. My deepest sympathy for their loss. Love, Aunt Mildred
