Obituary of Eleanor Dollarhite Couch

Eleanor Dollarhite Couch – 81; resided at Danby House, Winston-Salem, NC, passed peacefully Sunday, May 2, 2021.   She was affectionately known as “Laurie” to her family and closest friends.

She was born August 1, 1939 in Waterbury, CT to the late Robert Nicholas Faber and Eleanor (Noble) Faber.

Laurie enjoyed life with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   Laurie enjoyed being around family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Laurie was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Faber Jr., Daniel Faber, and William Faber.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Cheryl Dollarhite Couch (husband Ronald), Lyle “Bubs” Dollarhite, Jr., Martin “Marty” Reed Dollarhite, and Robert “Shane” Dollarhite; grandchildren, Jerry Key, Tiffany Key, John Dollarhite, Keri Dollarhite, Nathan Dollarhite, Meghan Dollarhite, Brendon Dollarhite, Kenlee Dollarhite, Colby Dollarhite, and Danielle Dollarhite; great-grandchildren, Jayden Key, Kaleigh Pullum, Cameron Key, Nathan Key, and Gabriel Key, and Noah Dollarhite.   Laurie was well loved by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2:00PM at Welcome Home Baptist Church, 5640 Reidsville Road, Belews Creek, NC 27009 with Rev. Carl Taylor officiating.
