Although our time was very limited, it was a pleasure knowing you and your great family. I enjoyed our conversations whether it was about the Welsh community or the Spanish translation of Princess. May you rest in peace, I hope that they have all the cigars that you could possibly ever want.

Jim's daughter Kathy was my college roommate. One of the great joys of those years at Carolina was going to Greensboro to visit Kathy's family. Both Jim and Pat were absolutely wonderful and I found both of them full of love and life. I traveled to Wales for some post-grad studies and thought of the Rees family often--as I met Rees after Rees after Rees. Blessings to all!

Jim is my most memorable Uncle. As a child I remember all eight of the Cummings Clan would get into the family vehicle which was not air conditioned and dive from Columbus, Ohio to Greensboro to see Aunt Pat, Uncle Jim and the cousins. Uncle Jim had such wonderful and interesting stories to tell us kids. I would think and ponder over some of the subject matter we talked about. He has blessed me with many beautiful memories. I will miss him deeply, but as God calls us all home one by one we will all meet again. Can you imagine what Jim will have to say about that.
