My deepest sympathy go out to your family during this time of sorrow. The death of a love one is very difficult. Therefore, I'd like to share scripture that may help. Please, read John 6:40, 44.

To Barbara and family,
I'm deeply saddened to hear about Tom. He was always so fun to be around. I'll always remember those Sunday dinners at our house. His laugh was unforgettable.

Our lives and ministry are enriched by Tom's friendship and partnership in working with youth at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, Greensboro. Tom's friendly smile, optimistic spirit, and tireless efforts with youth and other ministries will continue to have lasting impact on the lives of all those with whom he worked and have multiplying influence through their lives, their children, and have positive rippling impact on many others in future years. Our love and sympathy to Barbara, Kim, and Lyn, and the grandchildren.

My thoughts are with you during this time of loss. Your father/husband was such a caring person of teenagers. My only knowledge of Mr Tom was through my son and his friends. Mr Tom played trumpet with them during their time at EFHS. They thought highly of him and enjoyed their time with him. I believe that Mr Tom was like a "youthful" grandfather to most.
Regards.

So sorry to hear of your dads passing. But He is safe in the arms of Jesus Christ our Lord. I fondly remember him and al he did even for the kids at Carmel and the many times he drove, cooked and hung out with them. He was a treasure and we are happy to have known him.
